Returning to school was difficult. Not in the way that I don't get to see them as much, but now there are no late night Perkins runs or last minute plans. I actually have to go to bed at a descent hour because I have nothing to do! I know that summer won't be the same next year, which is another reason why letting go of this one is so difficult. With friends running off to college or the army... life just won't be the same. But I guess that I have to remember that friendships like these last a lot longer than what high school does, so no worries right?

Summer's End
It's hard to describe why this summer was so amazing and why it's going to be so hard to adjust to school, but I guess it can ultimately be done in one word: Besties. Friends so close, that not a single night was spent without them. That's about 70 days of constant movie nights, "family" dinners, sand volleyball, Gordon Ramsey, plenty of Last Comic Standing, and of course' all the nights we just sat around and played ping pong. Now this doesn't sound all that fascinating but it was truly the best summer I've ever had. I have to say that the seven people who this post relates to, are truly my family.

I LOVES YA ashleigh. Never forget that. And know that when I'm on a mountain side somewhere in the middle of no where with a map, a canteen, and the clothes on my back I will be thinking of you and missing you.
